Im doing that right now and no if he saids he is the dad then no they dont do a dna. But if he denies being the childs dad then they do the test. My sons dad never denied being his father so child support never did DNA now im getting my child support check no promplem.

I think it all depends on what state you live in...
My daughter's father denied that he was her father and he requested the paternity test.... Otherwise he would never of had to take it...
If the child's father signs the birth cert., they pretty much have no way of getting out of it, even if they are not the biological father. Once they sign the birth cert., they are accepting all paternal responsibility for the child.... (usually, like I said, depends on the state you live in...)

DEFINITELY. What if YEARS LATER he has a DNA test and finds out that he is NOT the father. He can demand, and get, all the money BACK that he paid for child support.

If he is listed as the father on the child's birth certificate, that is all you need.

He only needs to take the test if he's arguing that he's NOT the father.
