I need to divide 8+ hour .wma files into about 30 minute segments. The original files are 100+ Mb in size (110-120Mb). I assume that some sort of editing software should do this pretty handily, but I don't want to spend a mint on it. Freeware or shareware would be best. Thanks for your help!

You can use the Sound Recorder program build into Windows.
Start > All programs > Accessories > Entertainment . Sound Recorder
