They freeze very well. Separate the flowerettes, wash them well, and put them into boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove them from the boiling water, then put them into ice water for a few minutes. Drain them well and put them into freezer containers and into the freezer.

You can freeze it if you blanch it first. This means boiling it for a few minutes so it's not cooked all the way through. Personally, however, I would prepare some delicious cauliflower dishes, and freeze them. Potato and cauliflower curry springs to mind, as does the ubiquitous cauliflower cheese. Mmmm.

Im sure its possible, but why not make a cauliflower cheese (this can be frozen,) and some cauliflower and stilton soup. Then use whatever is left for dinner tonight.

Yep, blanch it first

This is to say, boil up some water, chop the colli up to chunks, put in the boiling water for a minute, rinse and cool, freeze in dinner-portion sized bags

you need to blanche it first before you freeze it. Don't you have family and friends you could give some to? I am sure this cauliflower isn't that big. Good luck.

NO...COOK IT AND QUICKLY FREEZE WHAT YOU DON'T USE AFTER IT IS WRAPPED TIGHTLY IN A FREEZER ZIP LOCK BAG WITH AS LITTLE AIR AS POSSIBLE. SHOULD HOLD FOR 3 MONTHS UNDER IDEAL CONDITIONS.

SUGGEST YOU COOK UP SEVERAL DISHES SUCH AS SOUPS OR CHEESE MELTS AND THEN FREEZE THEM. THE SOUP LIQUID FREEZES OUT THE AIR AS DOES THE CHEESE WHEN IT COATS THE CAULIFLOWER.

FOR BEST RESULTS AND TO MAINTAIN TASTE...SKIP THE ENTIRE FREEZING PROCESS AND INVITE A FRIEND OVER FOR DINNER.

I would'nt freeze it.

I'd cut it up - bag it for the fridge - use either raw, dip in ranch
dressing, or put in a bowl and micro with dressing of your choice.

I also like to fry it, micro just until blanched, dry with a paper towel, and fry in a hot pan with garlic oil and seasonings - great.

good luck

yes you can. First you blanch it, then give it an ice water bath.
bag in portions and freeze. Blanch means dip in boiling water for a few minutes.
