No---You should not believe in the trinity. It is a false doctrine. Jesus never claimed to be equal to God. Jesus also said he was ascending to heaven to "his God" as stated at John 20:17--"Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God." (So how could he be God if he was going up to his God?)
The Bible mentions several times that Jesus sits at God's right hand. Hebrews 10:12--"But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;"
Other Scriptures to read are Luke 22:69, Mark 16:19, Acts 7:55,56, Romans 8:34, Colossians 3:1, Hebrews 12:2 and 1Peter 3:22
God also exalted Jesus to be a Prince and Saviour as Acts 5:31 states: "Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins."
Jesus said he was not as great as his Father so they are not equal in power.
John 14:28--"Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I."
Also Jesus said at Matthew 26:39--"And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."
This is something to consider, but how many will really consider it?

Jesus, man got authority from God Father when on earth. Jesus, son of man died. But His soul and spirit didn't die, and neither does ours.
Jesus had the authority and gave it to His followers.
Logos...word. In the beginning was the word and nothing was created without the word.. .

God is the father of Jesus and therefore a part of God. As you are a part of your father. It takes all three to make the trinity. They are all a prat of each other. People call your father by his name, you call him dad, your mother calls him husband, But he is still the same man. Even Islam believes that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary. But they think of him as a prophet. Being the only one ever to be born of a virgin makes him a part of God.

More importantly, should you believe this question is worth answering? The Bible also said "Judas went out and hung himself" and somewhere else the Bible says "go thou and do likewise". To an idiot that may seem noteworthy, but to someone that knows truth, he realizes there will always be some bufoon to make the Bible say what he wants it to.

Mindy, i myself like your questions and your solutions. you're a treasure and such an notion to all actual Christians. you're making the actuality extremely hassle-free to appreciate, yet merely as in Jesus' time, many are as sheep and not employing a shepherd. they have been misled for see you later, the deeper problems with God are impossible. They carry close to to the traditions of guys and their "religious" leaders convince them to attain this. The question you asked actually proves the trinity doctrine to be fake, yet how many tried to make easy of it or thoroughly pass over the factor. Like Jesus, we sense pity in the direction of such ones. we are in a position to in basic terms pray that quickly till now the great Day of Jehovah arrives, some will open their hearts and minds to the actuality and change faraway from Christendom and her fake prophets. would our God proceed to bless our efforts to coach meek ones the sturdy information of his Kingdom.

Yes I believe in the trinity which is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
I dont consider any of your posted questions. I trust in the bible and in God and in Jesus.

I will try to give you a true answer, There is no trinity, Now to many Chritains, Yes I am a Christain myself, but to many that want to think there is 3 in the Godhead, You are wrong. If you put 3 in a Godhead then you will have to have either 3 persons or 3 Spirits. First of all GOD IS A SPIRIT, not a person, There was only One person & that was the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus did NOT exist before his birth as many think he did, Yes he did exist in the mind of God, In Genesis where God said Let US make Man in our Image, God was talking to his angelic beings, NOT Jesus.Just like me & you existed in the mind of God before the foundation of the world. Now we see Mary finding favor with God, Now we are going to see God's mind here, The thought of his Son That existed in his mind from the foundation of the world was about ready to be put into the womb of Mary. That we see the Bible says that Mary was Concieved by the Holy Ghost , & we also see that Jesus was the Son of God, did Jesus have two Fathers? NO. only one, Because the Holy Ghost is also the selfsame spirit of God only in a different office work. God, the spirit is the Creator, God the Holy Ghost is the Comfortor, But the same spirit, but in a different office work, Now we see Jesus being born, He a the Son of God, The Body was, Jesus did not have the Holy Ghost until after John Baptized him, then the Holy Ghost came down in the form of a dove. Now God The Holy Ghost now dwells in Jesus without measure, meaning all that God is, is now in his Son Jesus, But no, that did not take God away from any place else, Because God is everywhere. But all of God Attributes is now in Jesus, What die on the cross, was it God, NO But The Son of God. Jesus never put himself equal to God. He always said I can not do nothing unless the Father tells me Jesus said these are not my words but my Father words. So we now see God not in 3 different persons or 3 different spirits But ONE GOD in 3 offices of the Godhead, The first office is God the Creator, the 2nd office is GOD IN HIS SON, the 3rd Office is God in the form of the Holy Ghost. But Only One Spirit. One Lord. God did not die, The Son Die, God is the one who resurrected Jesus, While Jesus walked this earth his followers was comforted, But Jesus said I pray the Father that he will send you another comfortor, Then Jesus said I will come unto you as the comfortor in the form of the Holy Ghost. One Spirit in 3 Different stages or offices, God the Greator, God in his SON, & God the Holy Ghost. Not one time did Jesus equal himself as God, When He said if you have seen me you have seen the Father, Because Jesus said I do nothing unless the Fathers shows him or tells him. So if we saw Jesus in the flesh, we see the Attributes of God, When we see the workings of the Holy Ghost we see the workings of God. Jesus said no man can come unto me except his Father draws them, & then we can also see the workings of the Holy Ghost as that one spirit in convictions. Therefore there is NOT a TRINITY as 3 persons or 3 spitirts, BUT ONE SPIRIT, ONE LORD, only in different office work of the selfsame spirit. I hope this helps you.

If you are going to believe in one imaginary God, you may as well believe in three imaginary Gods as it doesn't cost any more, and it may help your therapist gage the severity of your delusion.
