No one is born lazy. Laziness is acquired over the years.
If you have been doing the things that need to be done, then I would not term you as lazy. You are just prioritizing your chores. Keeping things clean is not important to you, am I right?
You will be motivated if you see a desired goal by doing those things. Hope you understand what I mean.
If everyone were to behave the same way, doing the same things, having the same goals, wouldn't the world be very dull?
It's the different ways that people behave that makes life interesting, don't you think so?

I can relate 100%. I am extremely lazy as well. I am not overweight either, and I get what I need to get done, but anything extra, forget it. I could probably just seriously lie down all day and watch TV or movies without being a problem. It´s gotten worse since I started college (I still manage to get good grades though because when it comes to homework, I AM motivated). I think I am going to go get a thyroid test because during summer break it´s been more than ridiculous.

OMG, Me tooooo. I am the exact same way. And I'm sorry but I'm happy I'm not the only one.
What helps me is keeping a schedule. I have one of those Franklin organizers and I basically write down all the things I have to or want to do. This includes different rooms in the house, laundry, and even excercise.
Even if I don't get to doing it. I can look at my schedule and see what has been working and what hasn't so I can move things around.
I actually think I may be sick tho...Do you ever stay in the house for extended periods of time??? I can park my car on Friday and won't move it again until Monday. I guess that's another question for another day.
Well, I hope this helps.

Just find little reasons in the things you are lazy about that will motivate you. A cute guy you just met, or a promotion, or any incentive of any kind, reward yourself for doing something out of the ordinary that you know needs to be done but you don't want to do. Otherwise I think you're fine, we all get lazy sometimes.

I'm with you. I seem to get the things done that have to be done. But the rest just gets put aside. Nothing wrong with you. I think that most people are like that. People that keep a perfect house and car are just trying to keep up an image. Good luck.

There is nothing called lazy personality. It is just a mindset. You have to come out of it and become active. Remember things will not happen unless you do it.No miracle can move a boulder from a place for a million years unless some external force acts on it. This a universal truth and also the Newton's first law. So move your butt and get out of lazy mindset.

I am the Queen of laziness! It's all I can do to get out of bed! I think we need to get excited about something to motivate. Lets try having someone compliment something we have done. Praise seems to work for me.

what motivates me? Gilrs! now i have a girl at work and when there is nothing to do i ask her if she needs me to do anything for her. thats really the only thing that will make me go out of my way to do something

I can relate to being unmotivated and lazy....though i'm not a happy person more depressed. anywho when i need to get motivated....i kinda think of either the positive outcome out of it: i can invite people round to my flat, not be ashamed...or i promise myself a treat for doing it...like if i completely tidy the house, manage to get my bf to tidy his flat - i go bu myself a new top or something like that

I'm a rather lazy person too. But if you're really passionate about doing something, you'll feel motivated to do it.
