buy some henna from the body shop (I used it and it's pretty good) and read the instructions on the back. the colour doesn't last long but it looks good. it just gives you a shade of the colour

I use Egyptian henna it comes in powder form I like dark red, but you can get different shade. I buy mine from a health food shop, Mix it with hot water until it is about a custard thickness let cool and then put on hair and squish it in thoroughly. The longer you leave it in the more intense the colour, i leave mine for 3-5 hours and then wash out it can take a bit of rinsing

I even have used henna in my hair for a twelve months now. Henna is a dye, like another solutions point out, yet i'd desire to emphasize that there is in basic terms one colour/sort of henna. Henna dyes hair pink- while you're blond then you definately'll come out a dazzling redhead, while you're brunette then you definately'll come out auburn, black hair gets a pink sheen to it. once you notice food market henna claiming to be different colorings, it relatively is by using fact chemical compounds have been added to it. it is going to nevertheless be organic, with indigo or cassia, whether it is not organic henna. Henna does condition hair and lend shine. in case you decide on the comparable effect without colour, use cassia. Cassia does not 'count variety' as hair dye, by using fact there is not any dye contained in the plant.

Better get yourself the powdered henna, the result will be more intense.
Mix it up with hot water and some oil, put it in your hair (use plastic gloves) and leave it at least an hour and a half, rinse really really well.
