You can't burn more than 2 lbs. of fat per week. Your body will not process any more. that means 10 lbs. max! You should look at the long term and develop a healthy lifestyle. Also if you do lose weight you must not go back to the old ways or you will gain it back. For toning I suggest you try pilates. The classes have mostly women, so no male intimidation, and all levels can do the same workout.

Sit ups in any number won't make that happen. To lose a pound a day you would have to work off 3500 calories and eat only enough to keep your body going (about 1200-1800). Even then, I doubt seriously that you will be able to pull it off. Go to the lingerie section of your local department store and try on support garments and see what they can help you accomplish.

There is no such thing as targeted weight loss. If you want to slim down, eat right and do at least 30 minutes of aerobic activity every day, and at least 20 - 30 minutes of weight baring exercises every other day. Sit ups are great for building back strength and those nice tummy muscles, but sit ups alone will not do it.

Its not about doing sit ups only. You need to do various exercises as well as eat a balance diet. You can do 1 billion sit ups and it'll do you no good if you go and eat a pounds of chips afterwards

400 per day. this should make up for the ones you should have been doing for the last 6 months. why do chicks get all hung up on losing weight in 30 days or less? oh my god, i'm in a wedding next month! didnt you know that you were going to be in that wedding months ago?

Situps don't burn fat in your stomach, sorry. You cannot spot reduce. Your body will lose fat wherever it wants, no matter how heavily you exercise any particular part of the body. You can tone your stomach, but you can't "lose inches" there unless that's where your body is naturally going to lose the weight first.

I hate to burst your bubble but sit-ups don't lead to weight loss, they are a muscle toning exercise. If you really want to lose the weight, try jumping rope, swimming or other aerobic exercises
