Hi again,

Good Afternoon!

ASCP International exam will be available by next month (October 2006) in the Philippines. It will administered by Pearson Professional & Education Testing Center and is computer based testing. You can visit www.vue.com for more details and F.Y.I. they are same testing center that administers American Medical Technologists here in the Philippines.

This is a first hand information received from PAMET National Officers and ASCP representative - Dr. E. Blair Holloday - Vice President of ASCP USA from its recent short trip to the Manila last July 22, 2006.

The venue for the AMT & ASCP Exams in Metro Manila is in Ateneo de Manila University, Rockwell Campus, Makati City - This is my best guess and I bet on it.

Pearson used to hold its venue in Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in the late 1990s to early 2000 before transferring to Ateneo de Manila Rockwell. Before, it used to be held at Ateneo Main Campus in Quezon City (before Pearson was chosen to administer the exams in the Philippines) but was halted due to massive cheating scam back in the early days.

Cebu - no updates yet?

Please check the ASCP website www.ascp.org from time to time to see any changes and I hope this is very helpful in your endeavor.
