NO! Absolutely not! If the food has to go into a pre-heated oven, then use your conventional oven or use a toaster oven.
And never put anything metallic or with metal trim (such as a gold-rimmed cup) in a microwave oven.
And don't try to cook bacon on brown paper in a microwave oven.
And don't open the door of the microwave oven while it is still in operation. Turn it off first.
And, unless you want cataracts, don't stand there and stare at the food cooking in a microwave oven.
And, one more thing: unplug your microwave oven (and all electronics) during electrical storms.

Is that possible? Usually stuff that goes into a microwave is expected to cook fast. If you wanted to take the time to cook it, then preheat your oven and wait .

preheat microwave? what do you mean? you can preheat an oven by making it warm becuase you put the thing in. but you cant do it to a microwave...

no!! don't do it. it's dangerous to run a microwave with nothing in it. if you are going to do this then put a cup of water in there and stop after it gets hot
