LOL thats a bit harsh!!! I'm sure they don't act like criminals! They seem to be nice down to earth people!
Mind you it makes me laugh when the Barmy Army sing "You all live in a convict colony!" at the Test matches!!!

We traveled to Australia 5 years ago on business ,we were treated wonderfully by everyone we encountered.We stayed at the private home of the CEO of the company we were conducting business with at their insistence.We enjoyed everything about that great country,the people ,the feeling of freshness that the land has.Its open and uncluttered by a lot of people .Remnants of the USA old west in a way.But very modern and productive.I don't see the reason you equate them to criminals .Is it that tired old thing about who settled the land.Well maybe it took people that could stand up and endure the problems they encountered.I for one like the country and its people.

Australia like most modern societies have a certain amount of crimes, that incidently, I think they like to keep like that so our police force has something to do.
Having say that, I am an immigrant in this wonderful country and I never experience anything to reach that silly conclussion or statement of yours.
some of the so call crimes committed by the forced immigrants from the United Kindom were less than the one's committed by people that today are heroes in they own land.

I'm aussie through and through and ive never committed a criminal act in my life nor has anyone in my family.I pride myself on being aussie.i fail to see how australians act like a bunch of criminals.maybe you could elaborate on your question and or quit spreading your hate......

Why?Because Australians do not allowed Britons so easily to settle in their country?!!!
The same opinion have Europeans about UK!Why Britons still act like pirates?Europe made UK,and now UK has problems with Europeans!
UK made Australia and now Australia has problems with Britons.
