I use Google spreadsheet and enter information to it from another website. Life would be so much easier if I could split the Firefox screen. I have Firefox 1.5+ and Splitscreen 1.0 will not work with it.

Thank you for your answers. However I have tried to run more than one instance of Firefox 1.5+ and it does not allow it. I understand i can use Maxthon which has this capability but I do not like using IE based browsers. Opera also can but will not run Google Spreadsheets yet. I have to use this app by the way. Any more ideas please. TIA again.

You can still open them in different wondows and split them that way. You don't HAVE to use tabs.

Firefox 1.5 does not suport this at pressent. However the best way around it is to have two firefox windows open, then simpley right click on the task bar (an empity area) and click on the tile option that you want.

This also means the Splitscreen can be uninstalled as you can do this within windows without the need for this software freeing up some memory and disk space.

You can't with the tab feature. Best is to just open in a second browser window and then use the split screen.

You would have to contact the Mozilla Project team about that, maybe they can include it in their list of things to do :)
