I have a 83 cherokee jeep with a 360 and i wanted to put it in my cutlass, is it possible????

ok i know its goin to be a hassle but i want to know if theres an adaptor for it, or if its alrieady a chevy bolted to it??? its amc so it has front and rear axle from chevy.

Its possible, but I'm pretty sure it is not a simple bolt in process.

Is that a Mopar 360 or an AMC 360? Two very different engines. There may be adapters for the Mopar one, but I think the AMC's got a different bolt pattern.

It is likely to be easier and cheaper just to get a Torqueflite that bolts right up to your engine.

Check Transdapt or Advanced Adaptors for a bellhousing adaptor. If they don't show it, find a reputable transmission shop and ask a lot of questions. You can accomplish just about anything you want, for a price!

You have to look at the room you have and the bolt patterns are not the same,which means alot of fabricating are you good with welding and metal work if not forget about it.In my opinion you would be biting off more than you could chew.

Advanced adapters will have the solution. The price I found for this adapter was $303.60 at their on line catalog

no . It well not bolt up . You would go to way more expense than its worth !

maybe.... i think its possible you may have a bit of an issue with things not quite fitting where they should, but its worth a try , let me know how you go with it.....
