This question was obviously for me coz I am exactly 5'7 and by boyfriend is 5'7. The only girls that find this a problem are superficial - they only care about the exterior of a person and conform to what their girlfriends think of guys. Do you really want to be with a girl who has this attitude towards guys who are the same height or maybe slightly shorter? They don't care if you are the best guy in the world, coz they can't see that from looking @ u.
My so-called friend is constantly trying to encourage me to find someone taller and younger (I'm 21 & he's 32) but I honestly couldn't be happier with him!
Most guys are a little taller than 5'7, but who's to say that's normal? If you're 5'7 and u meet a girl who thinks this is normal & she's really into u, then why should you care what the norm is anyway?

No guy is too short. I'm over 5' 9" and never had any problem with shorter guys. I think the average height for a man is 5' 8". Honestly, most mature women just don't care about height, or weight, or how much hair a man has. We are concerned with caring, understanding, humour and good character.

I'm 5'8 and there's just SOMETHING about looking UP at a guy, not DOWN at a guy. I actually seriously dated a guy who was 5'7 and I couldn't even figure out how ty hug him without feeling awkward. It's a shame because I really liked him but It's all about feeling like a woman. It's why I date the 5'10 and up guys. You totally eliminate the problem. Sorry about that. I know that's not what you wanted to hear. If it helped, I really loved my 5'7 guy but his height totally drove me bonkers! I told myself it didn't and he kept bugging me about "does the height thing matter?" We are not together anymmore but it's not because of his height. he turned out to be a jerk about my family and THAT I will not tolerate. AS for the 5'7 ladies, ever considered a 5'7 lady dancing cheek to cheek with her? suggest it. there's a song out there that goes "when we're out together dancing cheek to cheek."

Hi there..I am 5'9 and probably would not date a guy who's shorter than me more than twice. The reason? Well, it's because I'd feel a bit out of place being taller than a man and if I fell in love with him - well it would be kind of hard to put height between our love. I guess what I'm trying to say is it's a stereotypical thing and when I think of it, it's really so silly to think like that!

There are a lot of women happy to date short guys but as a general rule, us woman look for the "Tall dark and Handsome" type because that is the fairytale image that we grew up with. Of course, we know it is not going to be that way so we look for a partner that will be our protector, so instinctively we will be attracted to someone bigger and stronger than we are, it is all a matter of harmony and balance.

I am 5' 1" and I have dated men my height and as tall as 6'6',,i have never judged a man on his height or his looks,,what I look for in a man is his personality,,his humour,,how he treats those around him,,if those things aren't any good well then I am not even going to look at him

No that's not really considered short. But when i think about hugging or kissing a guy, i would prefer him to be taller than me, not my height.

Go with what works for you. I'm 6ft most of my men were shorter. I wear pumps sometimes too. The man has to be secure with himself. What matters is how he feels about you.
