what is pvv on about?pls explain about what he is saying. what is sexulay dysfunction? sexual organs dont wrk proper? he's scaring me.

I was on escitalopram 20mg but now switching to Bupropion XL due to sexual dysfunction. Escitalopram causes sexual dysfunction in almost all people using it. There are a lot of other problems like nausea, weight gain, taste perversion etc... but these problems are transient or managable. Sexual dysfunction can't be treated though sildenafil may give some temporary results. Long term use of escitalopram may cause sustained desensitisation of serotonin receptors.
Still it is one of the safest antidepressant ever made. Benefits always outweigh side effects.
