I AM an atheist and I'm perfectly fine with this being all there is. I'm happy. Look around you and see the wonders of the world. You can enjoy them even if you don't believe god created them. And you can spend your whole life learning and wondering instead of just taking a religion's word for it and settling with that.

I am happy. And I do believe this is all there is. I would like to live loinger, sure. But I'm glad I've had the chance to live this long.

I'll use an analogy... An ice cream cone is short lived. However, it would be silly to keep thinking, "Oh, no, the ice cream cone will end soon!", as you're eating it. The fact that it is short-lived doesn't make it less valuable. It makes it something to enjoy while you have it.

Besides, I think this universe is fascinating. There's really nothing dull about it. I really have no use for making up stories about it to make it seem more than it is.

Most atheists and agnostics find meaning in life and are as happy as anyone else.

I'd certainly be happier to find out that this is all there is than to find out that the Protestants are right and everyone who isn't Christian will go to Hell.

On the other had, I'm hoping there is a better God who uses a more reasonable criteria for entrance into Heaven.

I choose to not practice any religion. However I am 100% happy with my life and wouldn't change nothing about it or in it. I would however be happy if the bible thumpers would learn to not try to push their religion on to others when it's unwanted.
I have seen people die right in front of me including my grandmother's. Life is not perfect things happen. I have NEVER and will never turn to god. I don't believe in that $hit.

I would be so depressed and miserable if there is no God to trust and to put all the heavy weight and the hard ship of living before Him to take care of. There cannot be a moment of happiness if you live your life as an atheist. All your ideas and every thing that has any value in my life would mean nothing. In fact, if there is no God, the best thing to do is to finish life itself and rest for your eternity. Atheist deceive themselves and live the most unhappy life you may think of, Don't be fooled if an atheist tells you he is happy with his life; he is fooling you and fooling himself too.

Now, just because you're an atheist, doesn't mean you don't believe that there is some sort of existence after death. This belief has nothing to do with religion at all. After all, it is scientists who are positing that there are actually more than 10 dimensions surrounding human life, and we are only able to perceive in 3 of them.

Assuming that I'm not putting enough effort into being an atheist and remain agnostic, I'm happy with my beliefs.
If this is all there is then I am positively ecstatic, nothing compares with freedom and desire...

Wow, someone sounds greedy. What else do you want? The world is a great and fascinating place. I'm quite happy in my exsistence and in pursuit of the truth.
