Yes you can I have taken this just read an article in AARP about throwing good medicine out. The drug companies put a date on it to make you throw away good meds and buy more

The medication does lose it effectiveness over a period of time (if I remember correctly on Flexeril it's approximately 6 months) but it should afford you some relief. Just remember that it's a muscle relaxant and for a pinched nerve, an anti-inflammatory would be more effective. Also, applying ice for the first 24 hours for a minimum of 20 minutes and then alternating with heat and ice after should afford you some relief. If you're not feeling better within a week, I would make an appointment with your physician.
