LOVING KINDNESS...

Right from the moment of our birth,
We are under the care and kindness of our parents..and then later on in our life.when we are oppressed by sickness......and become old...we are again dependent on kindness of others..
Since at the beginning and end of our live we are so dependent on other's kindness,....How can it be that in the middle we neglect kindness

TOWARDS OTHERS ???

Very excellent question. Now if only there was an easy answer to give for it.
I personally try to help anyone as long as it is clear that they are at least trying to help themselves in someway.

While this may be true for many, there are more and more children born into homes whre parents are not necessarily kind. These children suffer from abuse and neglect. There are some that are born into homes that literally kill them with "kindness" by giving them everything except true kindness and teaching self indulgence and selfishness. More and more of the elderly are isolated and being neglected. I see kindness neglected at all ages.

Of course this does not even begin to take in account war torn areas and poverty areas.

How is that explained by your Dalai Lama?

part of the problem lies with United States culture along with similar cultures who have lost the value of the older generation. from the time we reach the age where we need to support ourselves we are in a hurry to make ends meet. the working class are between these two age differences and concentrating on making a living sad to say takes over the kindness needed to take care of the elderly and young. those in the middle are called " the sandwich generation " until they in turn become the older generation when the cycle starts over again.

Kindness is an art that we are taught and should embrace. It is not that we human being neglect others in the middle, it is that we are trying so hard to survive that the only kindness we show are for those who are close to us. That the reason out children learn kindness and they return it to us when we are old. Otherwise if we did not give it to them while we were in the middle, they would not give it to use in our old age. So a little percentage of us does give kindness.

i'm surprised at how Christians and Atheists attack JW's for his or her ideals, the two attacking any nuance of their faith no remember what this is. on the tip of the day, all religions have extraordinary ideals interior their doctrine. the only subject concerns anybody ought to truly care approximately with JW's are: a million. Blood - why? because of the fact human beings die needlessly over it 2. F&DS / Governing physique rule: why? because of the fact this will improve human beings to "god" status giving them far too plenty administration over the lives of contributors 3. shunning - particularly obtrusive why 4. 1914 - why? thoroughly fake. Undermines the point of the scriptures with the help of growing to be eisoteric formula that distract readers from the authentic message of Christ each thing else.... who cares? All religions are loopy. Take out F&DS and you have seventh Day Adventists, take out 1914 and upload trip trips you have baptists... and so on and so on. if JW's have been to offload the F&DS, the GB, 1914, Blood and shunning...... i could be all in infant :D

Well,
that is a good reminder to all of us to be kind,
some of us are,
some not,
some once in a while,
some not at all,
we should always be kind, as if we are treating GOD, IN EVERYTHING WE DO,

i am a kindness junkie, i am kind, and some say too nice etc,
sometimes i get hurt,
but thats ok
i won't change,
and i will say, my greatest gift, or talent, is being kind and it is easy, and i enjoy having this personality,,
and THERE IT IS,,,

I have no idea...I guess we become selfish and distracted from whats really important. It is a shame though and a fact of life I'm afraid.
