Unless the fats in your bloodstream are so extremely high that visible deposits called xanthomas appear as yellow lumps usually near the eyes, there are no visible signs. Men may experience impotence also. You symptoms sound much more suggestive of a blood sugar regulating problem. The first "symptom" of high cholesterol is often a heart attack or stroke.

The only way to know if your cholesterol is high or not is to have a blood test. The same is true for your blood sugar. Make an appointment to see a doctor about your symptoms which need to be investigated in any case. Tell them you are concerned about blood sugar and cholesterol and want them check. You will want an early appointment because you need to fast for 8 to 12 hours before these tests are done for them to be accurate. This will save you another trip. Ask if you should bring your first morning urine specimen as well.

Bring a snack and any medicines or supplements you take with you to have after the blood work. If you get really shakey when you go without eating, have someone else take you for safety's sake.

I think what you are describing is more of a blood sugar problem. Eat regular healthy meals and avoid too much sugar that shoots your sugar up and then follows with a rebound low blood sugar.

Plus high cholesterol really doesn't have any symptoms. The concern with high cholesterol is that for many people it leads to clogged arteries. When you get to the point where you are experiencing symptoms from clogged arteries, you are in trouble.

There are no outward signs of high cholesterol until it is really late in the game and you start having heart problem, only way to know is to have it checked with your doctor. The rest of it sounds like you have more than one problem going on, some kind of GI problem and possibly blood sugar problem. You really need to see a doctor and be checked for these things. It is your life on the line don't wait until it is too late.

When you don't eat, your body does not have enough fuel to operate, so you feel faint or nauseous. If your stomach is upset after you eat, it may be that you have an intolerance to certain foods, such as milk products. Keep track of what you eat to see if there is a pattern.

As for the cholesterol, a blood test can determine this. go see a doctor.

That's the problem. No physical signs. Get a lipid panel done. You can not have anything to eat or drink {except water} for 14 hours before the blood test.

There are male cheaters out there, just as there are female cheaters. Please do not blame ALL men because YOU got a lemon. Instead of wasting time harping on all men, take some time to figure what YOU could do better in a relationship next time & how you are going to choose a better man next time. Good luck.

There are none. You need to take a blood test to find out.
