Example: 25% divided by 2 = ,125. Forget the decimal point just divide as normal then place your decimal point in the appropriate place, before your first division of 2 goes into .2 one time, 2 goes into 5 2 times, and 2 goes into 10 5 times. Check your math by multiplying .125 x 2=.25 or 25%.

Easiest way is to convert the percent to a decimal (move the decimal two places to the left, so 25% becomes .25 and 612% becomes 6.12). Then divide away. Just remember to put the decimal in the right place in your quotient. Oh, and to convert your quotient back to a percent - move the decimal two places to the right.
