We just have to love them and let Christ in us shine to them as He said, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
Our constant fellowship with our God must shine that they would see the difference Christ makes.

If you're a xtian, you must accept the bible as the literal "word of God" in which case, homosexuality is an "abomination" - no arguments!
If you're a mohommedan, the same applies except it's the koran.
If you're a Jew, then again, the same but it's the "Torah".
For all three, they cannot compromise their religion because if one statement is wrong, then it may all be wrong.
So, if these people are an abomination, the believers should be having nothing to do with them. They are "beyond the pale" and should not even be prayed for as they're clearly already condemned.
Of course, it you don't believe that your holy book is the divine word of god, you can do and say what you like. There's nobody upstairs to blame or condemn you anyway.
As for the queer community being in need, in need of what? It was their choice and however that makes them feel, it's up to them and them alone to do something about it.. As is often said, "You made your bed, now lie on it".

Come on, you can't honestly believe that being gay is a sin, the problem isn't them, its the biggots who think they need changing.
Whatever happened to respecting people for their beliefs? In which case, if someone who physically is a man believes that he should've been a woman, people should respect that.
Also, alot of gays have turned out that way because of things that happened when they were children. My friends dad used to be drunk all the time, beat him and his mum senseless and he decided at an early age (albeit unconsciouslessly) that he would never be like "him", "him" being his dad. He never was masculine anyway, but didn't want to be with a woman as he had learnt from his childhood that men with women equals drink and violence.
Lesbians often become that way because they have had men consistently abusing them etc. So maybe they did need help, but if they are happy and secure in themselves and its the only way it'll happen, then who is anyone to tell them otherwise?
By the way, I'm not gay or even slightly inclined that way, just have an open mind

As a concerned Christian that is gay I notice many children are being influenced to be gay. I was. We must realize certain facts. That gender nonconformity is often undiagnosed in children. That gender nonconformity can range from a child wanting to be the opposite gender too a child learning characteristics that make them look as if they have a gender nonconformity. Often people confuse this with a child being gay or will be gay. This can cause a child to be influenced to be gay.
I am aware now people are not born gay. It is from influence, just as a person can be influenced to be heterosexual. Yes the plan of God Almighty is for heterosexual lifestyle. Children do not always understand this, and so many influences can happen to a child.
If a child has gender nonconformity does not mean the child will be influenced to become gay, or think they are by themselves or their peers and family, but often it is the case they are considered gay before they have even formed any attraction at all.
Any child can be influenced to become gay. often not knowing the facts or emotions in a child can influence a child and peers and family. Children forget often the influences on them, but the influence will remain. Today they even say children that have a gender nonconformity will become gay and that is not always true. Saying it as fact is dangerous to children.

My experience has been that by not attacking them, but instead having casual friendships with them I have been more able to share my faith and plant seeds. I think we, as Christians, get over zealous and give it to them all at once in big iron chest and to those receiving that it feels more like a judgment or an attack than an attempt to share a loving God.... I think we need to remember that we were once on the receiving end of that iron chest. I remember being not where God wanted me and having other believers try to "whoop" me back into shape that only drove me away. It took a loving hand and a forgiving heart to gently guide to the loving God

The Gay community, for I am part of it, can always use a prayer. In fact everyone in this world can use a prayer, because everyone is put to the test everyday. There is no leaving homosexuality though, just as Im sure you would leave heterosexuality. It is just who you are and what you are attracted to. I have drew comfort from the fact that I am a homosexual, I didnt choose to do this. I cant be celibate my whole life and not love another man because everyone including the bible tells me Im wrong for wnating to be hasppy and loving another person, whether they be man or woman. I have to tell you I am in Love with my partner. We have been together for 2 yrs, and even engaged to eachother, even though we cant get married we have committed to eachother. I know 1 JOhn says "To know God is to know love cuz God is love." I cant believe that me loving someone is bad at all. Please continue to pray for us though, not to choose a sexuality though but to find true happiness and love and even acceptance from our peers, especially the Christians who usually hate us /judge us instead of showing us that christian love.

Gays should not try to break from homosexuality, that would be like telling you to break away from religion or even from heterosexuality. You do not have the truth of life just because you read the bible or believe in god. Plus, god would probably approve homosexuals for having the bravery of being different, and would probably punish you for trying to get things your way even though it is not your business.

If faith was proven it would be called a fact instead of faith.
I'm a heterosexual Catholic and I beleive in Jesus, but that doesn't mean I neglect other peoples religions and beliefs.
The bible says a lot of stuff....God is forgiving...God is vengeful...
How can this God who is both forgiving and vengeful punish people for homosexual acts? If God were to punish people for an act of freewill - which he gave to us (Free will), then he wouldn't seem like a very forgiving God. You want to reach the gay community and forgive them? Well they dont need forgiving as you arent God, and your judgement alone does not matter. SO perhaps you should worry about leading a good life yourself and not worrying about others choices
I don't think God discriminates against people because of their sexuality. God wants us to find love, and if homosexual couples find love with eachother tahn how can this be a sin. The bible is very complex, so people either live religiously by it or take the bits they want from it.

We have to let them know what the Bible says about homosexuality. I have responded to quite a few that they should read 1 Corinthians 6:9-19. It gives a very strong descriptionof what will happen to not only homosexuals but all sinners adn they we should pray for them akk. With a reminder that God loves us all.

ya can't just pray for them, ya gotta lead them out of it. It is a sinful lifestyle to be sure, they need to see though that homosexuality is a sin they commit, not something that they are. there is a wonderfull website at www.settingcaptivesfree.com that can help people make the transition from sexual immorality, homosexuality, smoking, drinking and drug abuse, even over eating. my advice, anyone who is looking for an out for their stronghold, this would be a good place to go.

Why is the gay community more in need than other people? That's their choice, to live that way of life.
I believe we do more harm than good in trying to do God's work for him. Christians seem to think we have to do this and have to do that to please God. Let's get our own act together first before we start preaching to others.
