Acts of terror have decreased, but the threat has increased. All Bin Laden has to do is F**t and homeland insecuity swings into action costing the US taxpayers a fortune. Bin Laden said he would bankrupt your country and with the help of Bush,Cheney & Haliberton for one, it looks like he just may do that. Remember with the sending of so many middle income jobs out of the country,mainly to China, there goes your tax base. The rich know how to hide and protect their incomes & the poor do not pay taxes. You do the math.

Our awareness has increased. The attacks have increased. We're just as safe as we were on 9/10. This Administration hasn't done anything to really make us secure no matter what they try to claim. Just because it's been 5 years doesn't mean anything to terrorists. The difference between us and them is that we're shortsighted, they only think in long term goals.

They are still plotting attacks but carrying them out has gotten harder and there are a lot fewer of them . Many of the leaders have been killed or captured , their finances are being intercepted, and many governments , world wide are running them down .
As President Bush said in the begining , it's going to take time .
Will terrorism ever go completely away , I doubt it .
But , we can make it much , much harder to suceed .

Bush is the backbone of international terrorism, EVERYTHING HE DO INCREASE TERRORISM as he is the greatest terrorists world has ever seen.

I think it's decreased... or our awareness of it has... do we hear about the IRA anymore? or the Tamil Tigers?... maybe its just the media... but other terrorist groups *seem* awfully quiet...
