Yeah it's possible, but unlikely. I'm sure he did like you, but wasn't ready for commitment. You told him that you loved him and that probably scared him. That's probably why he stopped calling you. Be careful about using the "L" word too soon or with the wrong person. You should move on and don't take it personally. There will be someone better.

oh, come on, grow up girl. the guy doesn't have the balls to tell you straight in your face that he has chosen another path., is he scared of the word i love you? , don't put all your hopes in him girl, life is too short not to be enjoyed. go out, meet new people, make new friends., maybe that guy was just a part of a season in your life, not the reason for you and him to be together. GODSPEED. GIRL!

Sweetie, I'm tallking of experience, the minute you mention the L word they run. He may come back, but If I were you just let it ride. Mine came back and said the love thing scared him. he just didnt have the balls to tell me...but realised afterwards that if he does not play his cards right, he would lose me. I became very hard to get and he now eats out my hand. No mention of love but certainly more attentive and really opens up to me about his feelings

I was told a long time ago that you can not say the L word. They have to say it first. I had forgotten but I remembered about it when my husband proposed. HE said the word first.
Something to think about.

yes it's possible, when he does contact you, tell him you have taken a different path and will soon be joining the people on the space station and there isn't enough room for him on your lifes path.

move on. men can sometimes just get the itch to try, though not necessarily be sincere about it all.
