U r absolutely right .. not all muslims are bad & i agree that it should not be a racial hatred.... I being a hindu & living in India & seen terrorism grow from past 15 yrs & mostly due to muslims of Pakistan but still more muslims live in india then Pakistan & not all of them could be bad......
But there is one question which i never can get an answer....
Name a Muslim country which has good relations with its non muslim neighbouring countries..... can you name one????
I cannot ... isnt it strange.... Food for thought!!!

Everyone does not hate Muslims. People I work with show me a lot of respect and goodwill and even love. I always let them know I'm a Muslim (because sometimes people mistake me for being a Mexican). It hen people only perceive the Muslims terrorists on the news as the only Muslim that people have a closed minded understanding of Muslims and Islam. In reality, Muslims are your neighbors and all around - you just need to get to know them to understand we are friendly and peace-love people. We hate the terrorist and condemn violence that that which happen 5 years from today on 9/11. Those people who carried out those acts were no Muslims.

your supplementary point answers your own question...there are some extremists and at the risk of a cliche a bad apple spoils a barrell....the problem is that many people are busy looking for reasons to hate whether it is the Jews in Germany in 1939 or in many other historical instances that led to pogroms or the Muslims in the 21st century there will always be people with hate in their hearts saying blame this person, that person for the troubles and perceived ills. The truth is that the majority and that is a lot of people reject the fanatics, reject extremism and embrace the peaceful way that all religions strive and endeavour to teach...except of course for counterbalance the extrem right wing Christians and born again zealots..so on the one hand and then on the other...

Muslims, in my opinion, are too addicted to their religion. They tend to be the most religious of all other followers of religion. Everything seems to revolve around their god and nothing else. They dont seem to realize that there are more important things to do than worship something that.
Also MANY Muslims who don't 'verbally' agree with the cause of Hamas and Al Quaeda and all those other groups seem to keep quiet and dont denounce those groups as been wrong in what they do (acts of terrorism, etc.). The way Muslims treat women is is also primitive and barbaric. As for the way they slaughter animals (cutting their throats and letting them bleed to death) is cruel and sick.

Muslims are not bad,No Terrorism in Islam:
"There is no compulsion in religion (Islam). Verily, the right path (Islam-Monotheism) has become distinct from the wrong path (Polytheism), whoever disbelieves in "Taguth" (all false Gods) and believes in Allah (only God), and then he has grasped the most trustworthy-handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower" (Qur'an 2:256). The only times in which Islamic believers are allowed to take up arms are when they are defending their own lives and the lives of their people. When they See the weak being oppressed in acts of tyranny, and when they are prohibited from practicing their religion. Aside from these circumstances, there is no legitimate fighting in Islam.

Not every one hates Muslims. I have found some very nice non Muslim people. It is just the ones who are hateful seem to have louder voices. Just like those Muslims who hate non-Muslims, they have a louder voice then those who don't.

"EVERYONE" doesn't hate Muslims.
Wrapping "EVERYONE" up with the few loud mouth, ignorant, hate obsessed, Nerf balls, is the same as wrapping all Muslims up with the few hate filled, bomb toting, ignorant terrorists.
I am a Baha'i.
I am Scottish.
I am brunette.
Does not mean that I hate Muslims.
Does not mean I hate Brits.
Does not mean I hate blonds.
First and probably the easiest step in ending hate is to stop lumping folks all into one big pile.
Soon as folks figure out the Muslims can't be all lumped togeather and everyone else doesn't hate them all world will be a lot nicer place to live.

I don't hate Muslims.
All Muslims are not terrorists.
Unfortunately, it can appear that
all terrorists are Muslims.
That gives Islam a bad reputation.
Add the mad ravings of a lunatic like
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran,
and they look even worst.

Muslims aren't all bad as what media potrayed.I have muslim friends in real and cyber world and I can tell you that most of them are trying live their life according to God's commandments.They put God first in evrything they do.If there are blind followers of Islam,then there are also blind followers from other religion.
