Your hair grows,it's just that Black hair is so brittle and dry that it breaks off before it has a chqance to accumulate any length. I used to have the same problem. I use Wonder 8 oil on my hair everyday and deep condition my hair twice a week. Don't wash you hair more than once a week and try not to use heat. I wrap set my hair for it to be straight and shiny and slightly curled under on the ends. My hair has grown significantly since I started doing these things. Also your may want to add a multivitaminto your daily routine. Not only will it help your hair and nails grow but it will also help prevent birth defects should you ever get pregnant.

a friend of mine had the same problem with her hair growing , she too is black any way even tho I know this sounds really crazy she would run into her scalp some stuff she said was for mange on dogs I dont know if she was pulling my leg or what but I do know the stuff stunk real bad and her hair did grow. She said that her grandmother had told her to use it so maybe you could ask some older people if they have ever heard of anything like that.

Your hair is growing, it is probably either breaking off because of poor quality products or it might be extremely curly to were it is just kinky curly and seems it is not growing. Hair never stops growing. Did you know that even where you die your hair continues to grow for awhile? You should go to a hair salon that mainly deals w/ a black clientele, they can look at your hair and better tell you

Your hair is probably growing but not at the rate you want it to grow. What you need to do is make sure your using moisturizing shampoo and conditioner such as Suave or Herbal Essence for damaged hair to name a few. Also you will need a moisturizer for your hair so it wont be so dry. Like Scurl, Stasofro, B&B moisturizer with castor oil. You may want to check out this site for more ideas....

I am caucasion but suggest this, since I have very very thick red curly hair. I love these products...Root Stimulator Olive Oil Creme Conditioner, and another one that looks promising is the Carrot Oil. It is next on my list. It permeates the hair shaft and gives it lots of vitamans. Good luck. Oh yes, B12.
