I am not going to say this to offend you or to convert you or anything else. Just my personal opinion. It is because the Quran is not the word of God. The bible is the word of God.

i don't thing that terrorist = Islam.
in my own opinion am against what they did. killing others with out reasons against Islam, Islam is the religion of peace. we all know that.
but the problem that some people do bad things using the name of Islam. this is wrong. u can't find any word in holy quran orders any one to kill any one, on the other hand we find that Islam punish those ones who kill others. we find that in holy quran also that people not allowed to punish each others. only government can punish people according to the clues.
what am trying to say that terrorist maybe read holy quran 8 hours a day but make sure that they understood it in wrong way. or lets say as they want, not as what god want us to understood it.
yes quran is the word of god but unfortunately some people are v.stupid to make other people ( from other religions ) suspect if the quran from god or no. they r stupid enough to give other chance to mock at our great religion. they thing that they protect Islam but actually they not.

People can read or listen to most anything and act subjectively to the contents.
The same statememt you make about readers of the Qu'ran can be made about readers of any holy book.
With reference to people detonating themselves: If they had methods equal to their opposition such as rocket launchers or jets the method of a suicude bombing would not.be an issue. People get tired of using slingshots.
People whom actually don't understand the of Liberty will not die for it because they will not live for it. "Freedom's just another word for nuthin' left to lose."
Logical analysis of what is being spun through the media is in order to arrive at some sense of it.
People just do not blow themselves up for no reason. There might be somehting else to the story.

Why do christians ordain gay bishops even though the bible frowns at the practice?. Is not just the question of your religion forbids/permits you or not, man is given a free will is religion is a guide. sometimes people do commit excesses in their religions. There are times man's life that going contrary to his believe is the only way of securing his survival. It is unlawful to kill, but sometimes we find people killing in the name of self defence, emancipation, indepence etc.....it is very myopic for someone to limit is prejudice on religion. Besides terrorist are made not born, one man terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. What moral justification do america has in going to Iraq other than the oil and for the republican to sell their weapons? what do you think will happen to those innocent children being raped and orphaned? you guess is as good as mine, another breed of terrorists. This goes to show that terrorism is not an exclusive birth right of the so called super powers. If you murder sleep you will surely find no peace.
Leave religion out of this and let us face the problems at hand. Forget all the propagandas, it so happened that these things are happening to the arabs who happens to be mostly muslims. I am so sure if it happened to Japanese, chinese or even indians they will act the same way only this time around it will not be given religious connotations.

Yes, of coarse the Qur'an is the word of God -there should be no doubt about that. The main point you must understand is the idea of purity of the heart. If a person's heart is not pure, they will never understand the Qur'an. If they go in reading it with bad intentions, they will only perceive things that will encourage bad behavior because of the lack of purity. However, if one is pure of heart, they will find healing and a peaceful message in the Holy Qur'an.

They believe they are in a holy war for god. They see themselves as martyrs and freedom fighters. When they read the Quran, they find in it things to justify what they believe.
