The Bible (the real one, not a novel!) defines incest as "an abomination before the Lord." That is as strong language as you can get in the Bible. The person initiating the incest was to be killed. As a survivor of sexual abuse, I see the point.

Drrrrr! Why don't people realize that the only way humanity could have procreated is to have had some incest during the early years? It's not like Adam and Eve happened, then a time warp happened, and the Earth was much more populated. I mean, coooooooooooooooooome ooooooooooooooooooooooon!

So where does "advocacy of incest" come in to this typically bent little equation?
We live in a society in which incest itself still goes on. Does that mean we advocate incest?
What happens, happens.
But that doesn't mean it is advocated.

Abraham married his half sister and got God's blessing.
"And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake. And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife."
Genesis 20:11-12
And, yes I agree something "naughty" must have happened both with Cain and then later with the family of Noah.

Noahs sons had wives i'm sure and back then people of God used to maryy distant cousins, but obviously more and more distant, obviously they obviously started somewhere. Thank God it was cousins. i think there were one or two cases that were similar to what you state, but these were in extreme scenarios as far as i read.
