As a former firefighter/paramedic, I know that "black humor"(jokes about a tragic incident) can help heal. However, the joke should be funny, that joke is not really funny. I think Steve (as a regular bloke) would not be offended by them, he would see them as a tribute to his life.Rest in peace,Steve.
