1 MB = 1024 KB

Usually, marketing counts:

1 GB = 1000 MB
1 MB = 1000 KB

Formatting of 1 GB memory cards usually makes the available space for pictures (as well as other types of files) a bit less though.

1024 Mb = 1 Gb
1024 Gb = 1Tb etc....


Therefore there are 1048576Kb in 1Gb
