photowise?
Officially:
1 GB = 1024 MB
1 MB = 1024 KB
Usually, marketing counts:
1 GB = 1000 MB
1 MB = 1000 KB
Formatting of 1 GB memory cards usually makes the available space for pictures (as well as other types of files) a bit less though.
