Scientologists Vs. Jehovah's Witnesses...?

This isn't to bash anyone.. I hope... I'm simply curious what the most of you think.

Who is more annoying, dim-witted scientologists (I mean that in the nicest way) or Jehovah's witness door-to-door people. The strong-suite of both orders (if, in fact, scientology could be labeld an 'order') is that they both are annoying in the sense that their followers don't give up in trying to persuade you that their faith is the correct path you should take.

However, the other side to that is that they don't seem to take no for a blasted answer and have strict guidelines that say that you can't associate with people different from them. (Though, I do admire their sense of 'community,' even if it is flawed.)

So.. whaddaya think?

Oh.. believe me, I'll get to other religions later... Everyone will be pissed off with me when I'm done here.. ^_-

I have no experience at all with Scientologists, and am not in a position to comment about their religion.

My mother is a devout Jehovah's Witness.

A am an atheist. I have not ever been baptised as a JW. I have no religion.

Some very good friends of mine are Jehovah's Witnesses, and I can categorically assure you that they do, indeed, associate with people who are "different from them".

It is for certain that my mother still associates with me.

And while I wouldn't dream of decrying your own personal experiences with JW's I can only say that here they are more than willing to take no for an answer. They are quite sensible about it; they say simply that they are duty bound to offer but would never put their foot in the door to stop people closing it on them.

i think it's best to let them do what is right for them...that's not to say i haven't sent the same door to doorers away many, many times...i tell them i appreciate what they are doing for there religion however i'm not interested..... personally am a christian and love jesus christ..and my way is the right way..( just playin with ya'll ) really though i was told by a pastor once that there will be all types of religions making up the body of heaven... it's the spirituality , the praises, the gratitude, the asking forgiveness, whatever it's the belief in the One...whoever you may call him....that counts

Of the two choices, I'd pick the Scientologists. At least they seem to be a bit more intelligent. Once some Jehovah's witnesses came to my house and I showed them my copy of the Satanic Bible. They had the most lovely looks of horror on their faces, but they never came back...and I was having such fun with them!

I think that jehova witness' are the most annoying mainly because scientologists dont knock or ring my doorbell when i'm about to get in the shower

Why restrict your dislike to merely two sects, I am also pi**ed off with the clean cut be-suited Mormons who accost me on the street and all the other religious nuts that impinge on my personal life. I do not try to force my beliefs (or lack of) on other people and so I expect the same courtesy from others.

I wonder which one would convert the other first:

- would the "scientologist" convert the "jehovah witness" to his/her beliefs first?

or:

- would the "jehovah witness" convert the "scientologist" to his/her beliefs first?
