leelee is correct i but will add one tidbit.... befre you sit - using your left hand, grab your skirt from behnd on the right side. this will help get you in more quickly - otherwise you'll have to fiddle with the skirt a lot more after.

Ok you need to lift the dress up just a fraction, so the hem is just above you ankles, if your boyfriend or husband is a gentlemen he should be holding the car door open, and just this amount of leg as well as practical, is also sexy! then sit on the car seat, sideways, lowering you self slowly so as not to hit your head on the roof of the car, and so you legs are still outside the car, then, swing you legs around into the car, and hopefully again your boyfriend or husband will close the door.

With the door open, you turn your back to the inside of the car. Sit down on your bottom then slowing swing your legs in while making sure your skirt is not going to get shut in the door.

Wait for someone to open the door for you, then fold the extra fabric over the front of your legs (as if to make the area you are sitting on smooth), then sit very straight backed, but being careful not to bop your head. Then cover your chest with one hand (like saying "who me?") and bend at the waist putting your hand at your calf to push in the skirt so it doesn't brush the filthy underside of the car. Wait for someone to close the door for you.

Just like princess di used too, u turn and put ur butt on the seat first,then keeping ur knees together u swing your legs in, practise a bit, but once uve got it mastered its a nice way to get in adn out of a car no matter what ur wearing

sit on the seat sideways, with both your feet together on the ground. keeping your feet together, pivet your body into the seat. if youre wearing a long skirt or not, this is the most manner-some way for a lady to sit in a car.

For a Limo: Sit with your behind in first...scoot back with your hands and turn your legs in.(make sure they are together)
Regular Car: Same deal except you don't have to scoot.
