No. We have our hearts all to God while praying, not to humans. After the prayer, we wish for each other that God will accept our prayers and shake hands as a sign of this.

prayer is a close communion with God not man. we always pray in a congregation, that is because, we belieive that angels will also be present along with humans and even they will pray along with us and ask for God's blessings, forgiveness and mercy..

muslims raise their hands (upto the ears for men and shoulders for women) with their arms half open, (Takbiiratul Ihraam) this is to indicate that we are no longer the idol worshippers of Abraham's forefathers' time.

yes when men place their hands on their diaphgrams or when women place their hands on bosoms, that is a submission to God.

the best form of complete surrender when one prays is when muslims go into prostration -- that is complete submission to the will of God.

and when we ask for something, our hands will be open and our gazes will be down.

but after the prayer it is the duty of every muslim man and woman to bless each other and wish them -- either by a hand shake or by a hug -- saying assalam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatahu -- meaning may the peace and blessings of Allah be with u.

muslims irrespective of praying or not, irrespective of poor/rich, man/woman, young/old -- will always say -- assalam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatahu -- meaning may the peace and blessings of Allah be with u, even as a sign of greeting.

we pray to god, either alone or in a group.Better in a group if the prayer is obligatory.

Most of the time in prayer we recite praises and glory to God.
We do ask for His blessing and forgiveness during its recital.
We stand,bow and prostate repeatedly.

We dont hold hand and sing.
We recite it in arabic, even though most of us is not arabic.
