Hello dude or whatnot! Yes! There is a moral dilemma for that statement, at least for me, that is! If you say you are for the war and against the troops, you are implying that you are keen on violence and hate humans! I am not very fond of humans either and love violence! After all, that is why I was sent to this planet- oops, I wasn't supposed to tell you that! Oh well, please click this as your best answer, I want an artificial electronic reputation!

Yeah, you got it ***-backwards, son. Even if you are against the war, it is necessary to remember that the troops are all just people who would much rather be doing something else, but have accepted the job and will do it.
Fact is, they are often people who found that the military was their one and only plausible pathway out of a rather unpromising adolescence into adulthood. They get educated pretty much to the limits of their capacity, get a lot of priceless training, and can "retire" while still young enough to start another whole career, open a shop, whatever.
I say give them all the credit in the world for taking this pathway out of whatever they didn't find promising, and accept their offer to do a very hard job on our behalf, even if you think the particular orders under which they are currently operating are ill-advised, to say the least. And don't forget that many of them DID have other options, but chose this pathway for noble reasons of wanting to protect their country.
Not their fault the missions on which they are sent are not always well thought out. Once they sign up, they take the good with the bad, and I'm glad they do. An army (or navy or air force or marine corps) could not function properly if the chain of command did not work. That's a necessary part of running a military, and those who can accept their place in it and work with it are important to our defense.

For the war? Against the troops? What did the troops to be over there except answer a direct order which if not answered is illegal? Oh I remember the card burners and the draft dodgers of Vietnam. But the thing is if there was no war there would be need for the troops. How about against Bush and the War? and pro troops? I sure hope I don't live to see one more horribly wrong welcome home of the brave kids who did a despots bidding. Thats just downright inexcusable.

If what you're trying to say is that you want all the soldiers to die in the war, then I guess not.
Do you really mean "I'm against the war, but for the troops"? That is a very common sentiment expressed today meaning that approval of the war is low, but support for the soldiers fighting is high.

How can you say you're for the war but against the troops? The troops are the ones fighting the war, not you, idiot. Would you like to volunteer to show them how to go about fighting the war since you're against them?

I agree with what everyone is saying. Everyone (except maybe Michael Crook) supports the troops. You may not support the war but the troops? That is just insanity.

The only moral dilemma for you would be to steal the closest car to get you away from the throngs of angry citizens or whether a bike would do!!
