As long as the races,countries/continents that think they are mightier than others are around, you will never hear of anyone winning the war on terror.It is as a result of such humiliation of some countries on others that terrorism is there and will never end, as a result we will only know when a report as been passed from earth to our graves that NOTHING EVER GOT SOLVED ON EARTH CONCERNING WINNING THE WAR ON TERROR

When the two extremes: The fundamentalist islam and the U.S Neoconservatives looses the trust of the people for its manipulations and violence. Then we'll go back to the truman's "golden age". That was just 30 years ago.
These politicians and terrorist alike are driven by ideologies. The islamist by Ayman zawahirri (through Sayyed Qutb) and The Neoconservatives by Leo Straus. Rumsfeld, wolfowitz, cheney are all under his ideology who proposed strick rule to supress liberalism. You need to watch this.

Terrorists capitalize on fear. Media's reaction to terrorism is not doing us any good. People are terrified, this is why it works.
Terrorism became an issue ever since media started making enough noise about it - approximately the end of the 19th sentury. So here is your answer... Stop being terried yourself. Learn to kick a**es.

declaring war is the perfect way to maintain a leadership position...
people are often too afraid to change leaders during a war in case they make a mistake....
so all the little shrub has to do is keep 'at war' with terror to keep his position.... and our little johnny just has to keep up the same old same of posing as support to the shrub....
and wellah! you have permanent positions as leaders..

When the rest of the world feels they are free to do as they please without imposing on another, and their government is an advocate of them prospering....its an ideal anyway. But without freedom around the world, others will always be jealous of what others have or try to control it.
