Any one can grow long hair. I think you just made a snide remark about women running their mouths.

A mans hair will grow long just the same if he does not cut it or tries to let it grow and trims it occasionally. Many straight men happen to like women with long hair. They find it beautiful. Babies like to twirl it in their fingers and hold onto it because it makes them feel safe. It might keep her neck warmer in the winter and it is a great deal of work to keep it nice, but some of us feel it is our crowning glory and part of our identity.
