ok my mom has MPD or disassosiative disorder. we knew something was up when she would get very very angry and scream at us then not remember. one time she beat me with a wooden spoon then came to and didnt remember...it was pretty bad.
here are some classic signs:
1. lapses in memory that can last any amount of time be it short or long term.
2. if people notice EXTREME changes in your personality
3. if you hear voices in your head. also can be associated with schizophrenia
4. same symptoms of say depression
i know there are more but i just cant think.
alot of people who have MPD live with it and are just fine. like my mom. she is just fine now

Well, some of the symptoms include Amnesia, Depersonalization,Derealization,Identity disturbances and stressful situations.
Depression
Mood swings
Suicidal tendencies
Sleep disorders (insomnia, night terrors, sleep walking)
Panic attacks, phobias
Substance abuse, eating disorders

Your best bet would be to go to a mental health professional to get the right diagnosis before jumping to conclusions because Multiple Personality Disorder can be interpreted as other disorders that are similar.
