When you try and save someone else money by offering a good offer.. they tend to throw it in your face and say mean things about your products

I am selling printed mugs, I didn't push them on to them, they were being offered. Ok, I offered them on here, which I believe I shouldn't have, but the comments people were throwing back at me, was bang out of order.

The reason for this is quite simply that you are a thoughtful, caring person who will go out of your way to help people. Some people just dont want to be helped. My advice would be to ignore these people and help those that want it. You really do sound like a beautiful person Jayne and I'm quite sure if I knew you I would Love you.

I love a bargain, so I'd be pleased if someone offered to help me save money. Maybe the negative people think there's a catch - perhaps they think the product you're offering won't be as good as a more expensive one. It's up to them, if they've got money to waste, let them and concentrate on the people who are nice to you.
P.S. What exactly are you selling?

Sounds like your in sales Jayne.
you had better get used to it but on the positive side it does make a sale seem so much better.
You have to have a thick skin in sales and rejection does not mean never - just not now. On the other hand its one you can cross off the list for now, the worst are the maybes and time wasters.
Could try changing your pitch maybe.

Its not negativity, its cynicism. Every product offered is supposed to save you time, money or energy and 99.99999% of them are rubbish.
We know this - if your product was so good it would sell!
Consumers are wise to your tricks! and good on them!

it is basic human psychology that a cheap thing would be considered bad in quality where as the quality of a costly thing would be considered good....similarly people doubt the intentions of a good proposal or offer.....it is the way life has become.....we all think of such an offer as too good to be true..........

People don't like to be sold things directly, they'd rather believe the TV ads.
