im 20 and still a college stud..someone propose to me if i could marry him..he's 46years old..and a widow..he is of course rich and promise to give me his RANCHO..i kinda like him because he is a yummy handsome..but i dont want to get married this early..i still have my dreams..i wanted to be a lawyer someday..but he is in a hurry..i dont love him..i just like him..but gosh, i dunno what to do..i dont want to accept his proposal because i'm not aftering his money..i have enough for me..what will i tell him?..i've turn him down so many times..

if you think that you two could get to somewhere in the future, tell him that you need some time and if he cant wait then he will have to go find another person. but if he did say he cant wait and just forget about it, then it shows that he actually does not really love you but just want to get married cos he's not young anymore.

Heck if you dont want him send him my way. Not really. On the serious side if you dont love him and your heart isnt in it then either tell him no or if he wont take no for an answer tell him you will but after you have finshed school and have set up your law practice. Then hopefully he will have either found someone else or who knows you might have fallin in love with him by then and you two can live happily ever after. Also think about this if you are 20 and he is 46 by the time you are only 40 he will be 66 and trust me I am 45 and no way in hell would I want to be with a 66 year old man all grey and shriveled up. If you want happiness follow your heart. It would really suck if you married the guy and then later on the man of your dreams crosses your path and you cant stop him since you are already married.

Your 20...you have so much to live for that you need to enjoy...not that being with him you won't... but because you don't really love him...you shouldn't marry someone your not IN LOVE with...tell him just that you have dreams of becoming a lawyer someday and that takes a lot of commitment...you don't want to loose focus on your dreams. tell him what you just told us. he can do nothing but respect your decision or continue. tell him if he really love you can he wait till you get your self together and that you dont want to hold him till you fall in love if that happens. if he in such a hurry what the reason why cant he wait. dont ever marry a man you dont love love him or let him love you more but love for the right reason. dont stop your life cause he in a hurry you have one life ane one you and you want to better your chances there will be more if he dont want to wait for you just tell him the truth. that is the best way to do it you want to be a lawyer because that is your dream. why let someone take that away from you. right there is telling you that he wants to control you dont start off like that, be a forever friend

You are a young bright girl, don't waste your life on someone that's not right for you. Life is too precious to do that.
You sound like you have a good view of money, you are right, when you are talking of marriage, money shouldn't even come into it.
Meet friends your own age and have lots of fun. You will never regret meeting the man of your dreams, but you will regret a bad marriage, it's a terrible situation to be in, ask any woman that's in one.

Is this a serious question? You don't love him, you don't want to give up your plans for your future, he's twice your age - what do you want us to tell you?
If you've already turned him down politely and he still won't leave you alone, you may have to be blunt. It's for his own good as well as yours. You don't love him but you're contemplating marriage to him? In a sense you would be prostituting yourself. Marrying for money/things he can give you. Is that what you want to be when you grow up? Because obviously you're not at all mature. I figure he wants to marry you because you ARE young...and older men tend to view younger women who are with them as a "status symbol"...a "trophy" if you will. So are you willing to prostitute yourself to be someone's trophy/status symbol and nothing more?

You have your priorities that you've like to meet in your own terms. You're soo young. Live your live first. He's lived his, so he should be understanding towards your feelings.
