Green is usually the color associated with being horny. Dirty jokes could make people feel horny.

I don't know what colour coding they use in America, but porno films in the UK. are "blue films" but in Spain they call them "green films", In UK. a red light outside an establishment may signify a brothel (hence expresssion "red light district" but in Spain, they have a green light outside.
