I was dating this girl for about four months. Then for some reason things ended between us but we still continued to talk. Then we started to see each other again. I thought that maybe we might get back together, so I was keeping things casual and slow. We still showed affection towards each other but then I notice that she was trying to be just friends. The reason for us ending was her idea by the way. So I decided that this would not work for me because I really want to be with her. So I told her that if she doesnt want to be with me than I cant talk to her anymore. Then she started to cry. Why if she doesnt want a relationship with me would she act this way? I dont understand she is the one who doesnt want to be with me. If she said that she wanted to be with me I would do it in a heart beat. I think that she is the most amazing person that I have ever met but I cant handle us just being friends.

The reason she cried is that she probably doesn't want to loose you as a friend, but you have given her an ultimatum that she can't possibly keep. Either she stays in a relationship with you that she obviously doesn't want or you end everything with her. You're trying to call all the shots, which is being pretty selfish.

You did the right thing by going slow. It looks like she still has feelings for you but still cannot sort things out, or what she really wants. Her breaking up with you was maybe because she wanted a little space for herself. Sometimes in a relationship a person feels that their privacy or freedom becomes less and less. That's how my girl friend felt about us. So we talked, I respected her wishes, and now we see each other more and more and have a wonderful relationship.
Talk to her and try to get her to open up. You might be surprised and the both of you will probably find answers that will make you and her happy. She might even then want to be in a relationship. It might take time but in the end its well worth it especially if you see her as an amazing person. Sometimes the right person comes into your life and it takes a little work to make it work.

This is easy. Its obvious that before you dated she cherished your friendship, and thought it was strong enough to withstand a relationship. You dated and things didn't work out and she probably realize d you were a better friend to her than a boyfriend (Prolly because you dug her you were acting your best) So now she wants to be friends and seeing as you Say you wont talk to her unless your dating, she prolly feels as if the friendship is obliterated, and feels trapped.

Nobody can have too many friends. Be happy for what you had and that she still wants to be your friend. But you need to move on and not pin any more hopes on something that is not going to happen.

Shes just being selfish. Very Selfish. She wants you around when she wants you around. With no commitment. Your good enough too keep around until someone better comes along. Stop talking too her, its just a waste of time.
