Depends how old she is, and how old you are. Probably, just tell her the truth. If she is too young, she'll ignore the information as not relevant.

I agree with terraform_mars: It is primarily an issue of mature perception hence the question of your sister's age... and yours (but you already know it, and since you refuse to tell her, you are exercising your own mature judgment--elder sister knows better).
