My avairy is 5m X 2m and has 4 canaries, 6 finches and 2 diamond doves. I am very interested in budgies but I'm not sure if they are compatable with my other birds

Budgies are cute, smart and both sexes can talk - BUT - they are cannibals. Any weaker bird in their flight can be picked on and they will eventually kill it. Finches and Canaries are a very gentle bird and don't need the krass nature of budgies in their world.
Therefore I would NOT recommend they be put together.

As a breeder of love birds and canaries I can tell you do not mix the species.

Hooked bill birds are more aggressive and would spoil the lives of the canaries.

NEVER keep hook billed birds with strait billed birds.

Budgies can be kept with lovebirds, but keep a few of them, one bird kept with other species will be both lonely and at a disadvantage.

It does depend on the individual birds but generally they should be ok and all get on fine

You can do it, but budgies are very aggressive and have been known to kill fellow budgies, so I wouldn't risk it.
