Thats funny - the answer is no.

But plain popcorn (ie no salt or butter) is a much healthier alternative to fried food, packet chips or biscuits.

While it cannot replace the nutritional value of fruits or vegetables it is a good source of fiber and is quite tasty! Just check for one low in salt and fat particularly the partially hydrogenated or "trans" fat.

Definitely no. It has been processed and sugar added. Anything containing its own natural sugar (nothing added) can be classified as a fruit or vegetable. Spinach/apple etc.

No it wouldn't, however it is a good snack alternative so long as it is plain. If it is plain it is definetly not up there with french fries and chocolate. Ask anyone who's done weight watchers.

i luv popcorn...but no i wouldnt... becoz for one, corn isnt veg, it falls under grains catagory...so no...i think its more like potato chips snack only its a healthier option...(talkin bout plain popcorn)

No. But it is a good diet food if you don't add butter to it, because it has almost no calories and is filling.
