There are some good lists of plants here, but you should also include a whole lot of plants that came by accident. Like, many varieties of grass and weeds that came by accident mixed in with other seeds, or in loads of lumber or animal feed, etc. Also. after the colonists settled the east coast of the USA in the 1700s a lot of sea captains who were trading to Africa, Europe and Asia brought back plants that they thought were interesting and planted them in their gardens. Later they spread all over the landscape.... in my backyard I have two plants that came to the USA from overseas that I have been trying to get rid of... Oriental Bittersweet and Japanese Knotweed!
