I like to get the MAXIMUM use out of my underwear... -I usually throw them out a day or two before they finally disintegrate. That way I can put them into the compost bin, instead of the washing mashine- and use them to mulch my roses 6 weeks later. Stop laughing- it works!!! :)

Hmmm I don't think I've ever had rips, holes, discoloration or severe damage. Mine look good for years and years, maybe a little fade but that's it. What on earth are you doing to your underwear?

haven't you heard thet joke about men's underwear? As long as the elastic is still there, its still good. Good underwear should last you couple of years. Weeks? What are you doing? If your lazy and don't want to laundry just keep buying new ones and throw away the used ones. Hanes and fruit of the loom will love you.

Yes, if it becomes full of holes. Or, when the elastic comes out and one side sags down your leg and the other annoyingly makes it's way up in your crack. Unless, you feel comfortable in saggy under-breetches.
Stains (skidmarks, menstrual leaks, etc.); if you are not expecting someone to see your underwear, I would not worry about them because it is a good chance that you are going to end up with more of them anyhow. Throwing them out because of a stain is a waste of money.

thats funny, i would throw them away when i cant wear them anymore. holes in them i would use for that time of the month. and the tight ones are already gone. now for men underwear i would think you would throw those away when you see skid marks and they start falling off, then invest in some boxers they give you more room and air anyway. not too many are still wearing donn da donns

many times grimy. till now I positioned them on i'm going to think of "hmm, feels like this can be the final hoorah for this pair". Then i'm going to throw them interior the rubbish on the tip of the day as quickly as I bathe or bathe. often times if I observe rips or stretched waistband as quickly as I do away with them from the dryer I throw them away sparkling.
