I have always been considerate of my partners feelings and treat them with respect but it seems that most females are drawn to the jerks, why is this ?

Also, I tend to put my ladies on a pedestal and treat them as queens. All to often this leads to my being taken advatage of.

Probably because most females are jerks too since they don't know what's good for them and don't know how to choose between a man and a jerk. What do you think?

Right now I am 20 yrs old when I was younger 15-18 I was such a jerk to girls, I was a total @$$hole and I mean a BIG ONE, everyone always told me and mentioned it to me, ALL THE TIME. Girls came to me like NOTHING. Hott ones too, a lot of them were interested in me saying I was a jerk but that attracted them very much. I met my ex gf and I was a jerk to her too. She fell in LOVE with me and eventually I fell in love w/ her more. I stopped being a jerk and treated her like a QUEEN. I gave her money all the time, did what she wanted. Guess what she dumped my @$$ COOOLLDDD within a year. F*CK this sh***TTT i am f**CKING pisssssed offfffffffffff but after going through this I cannot be a jerk anymore, I am always nice, and pft, single!

because they are a challenge. women think jerks are broke and they think they can fix them. when they find out they can't they start complaning that they can't find nice guys!!!
women say they want nice but they don't. when they get them they make up excuses why it didn't work. and ever time it's the guys fault. "he's too affectionate"," he's a wimp cause he gives me every thing", "he's no challenge", "he's a nice guy but"
nice guys will always be the "good friend" not the date cause they need the shoulder to cry on when they get hurt by the jerk and they know it is going to happen. They know they could solve all of their problems by going out with the "Good Friend" cause they all ready know he will treat them right. but you will never see that.
If they had the guy that treats them well they would no longer be the center of attention with their problems.

Ever watch animal planet?? Short answer is alpha male gets the girl. We really are animals deep down. A woman wants to feel protected (from what??), whether it is physically and/or financially. Being nice and respectful is good, but if you can do that and let her know you've got her back then you're on the right track. Most women want a take charge guy, a decision maker.

The jerks become jerks because they learn to take the fact that they attract a lot of women for granted, whether it be because of their looks, charisma, money or whatever. They figure that if one woman leaves there are plenty of others. So they're less willing to compromise than the guy with the glasses and pocket protector.

Because girls like to leave their mark on a boy. Bad girls will go for nice guys and try to corrupt them. Good girls will go for the bad guys and try to fix them. The question you have to ask yourself is which kind of girl do you want, and then chose the appropriate guy type so she will want you. Just remember as soon as she has you the way she wants you she will leave you, so you have to continue pretending to be what she wants to see. It sucks that life is that way, but there is really nothing you can do to change the way girls look at guys.

It is you that are drawing the type of females that are drawn to jerks but think they want a nice guy. Don't expect the type of women you are attracting to change. Change yourself and expect a better result. You;ll get what you expect to get.,

ya know....I can relate to you to an extent....but I really think the tide is turning...women are starting to appreciate the good guy more often it seems.....you have to understand, this goes back to the 60s when women were enamoured by the birth of the Hollywood bad boy like James Dean.....things are starting to come down to earth, especially since movies suck nowadays....so hang in there.
