I live in Idaho, and on the inside of my screen I think there was a hobo spider, I caught it in a plastic bag to take it somewhere tomorrow, but now it is dead and all curled up. Anyone in Idaho that could tell me more?

I live in washington. I have about 40 of those in my old house's garage. two got in 3 summers ago, I have been killing them ever since. Yes they can kill you considering they are the 2nd most poisonous spider in the washington, oregon, and idaho area. Watch out for a bigger spider with long long legs that are thick.. This spider is called a brown recluse, I found one in my basement the other day. So yea, I live in a very nice neighborhood in the middle of the city. There is a little forest behind my house. I would say don't sweat it unless they get into your house, because if they reproduce, it will be somewhere dark where you will not see the egg sac, and within a week, your house will be a living hell.

Go online and type in Hobo Spider. It will show you pics of it. Compare to your spider. Even curled up, you can pretty much tell.

There are no spiders contained in the united kingdom that are medically significant, yet all spiders are venomous. generally, bites at the instant are not something better than nuisance, a short soreness and perhaps a lingering itch. it relatively is generally different for somebody with hypersensitive reactions to venomous bites and stings. subsequently, consisting of a bee or ant stings may be particularly extreme.

I'm in phoenix and got bit by a brown recluse which is far worse. I cleaned out my sore (which was nasty infected), pushing out all the puss, and bacteria. It was a nasty site.

Yet I kept it clean with peroxide and alcohol.

Don't worry about the spider, dispose of it. Keep alcohol, peroxide, and neosporin in case of emergencies. You will do fine because you are so alert and ready for the worst scenario.

Most spiders are harmless.

It would be very bad luck to find a poisonous one, except for the black widow, that can be easily identified.

They wont bite you, unless they feel attacked.
