i walk my dogs 15 mins a day, every other day. i don't eat much fried foods, though i do occasionally indulge. i seem to be losing weight noticably, but it doesn't show up on the scale. how can i change my exercise so that it does show up as lost pounds on the scale?

It's great that you're making progress. If your clothes fit better but the scale stays the same, it's actually great news. It means you're losing fat and building muscle at the same time. That's the best thing you can do for your body composition.

One good way to accelerate your progress is to add intensity to your exercise. Instead of just walking, try some running occasionally. High-intensity bursts - such as running for 30 - 90 seconds, then walking a few minutes, then running again - are very effective and not too difficult. You can adjust the intensity to what feels right for you.

I highly recommend a book that has taught me a lot about this whole area. It's called "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle" and you can get it here - http://necessaryvirtues.com/recommends/burnthefat

i'm endomorphic too...

i think the most important thning to remember when your endomorphic is that the body tends to store the food as extra energy quickly as the other body type. so to counter this you should be really carefull on what you eat here are

some foods to avoid:
anything fried(oil gets it's calories from fat and anything fried is fattening), sugar(of anykind), enriched flour and the word 'hydrogenated'.

i'd lost around 30lbs in three months already and still losing weight.

Add wrist and ankle weights while you are walking. Building muscle helps burn calories.
