Problem...
If "God" was not there yet, there was no will to speak of.
Being sentience means conscious of senses but that bags the question of "where did that will / consciousness / sentient come from?"
Is "God" the universe? Many Christians would not agree with this notion because "God" would therefore be subjected to the laws of the universe and may not be its creator. Also, where did the universe come from?
The whole problem started when some authors wrote about an all powerful "God" and the society took it for granted without validating what was written. The idea took hold but problems remained unresolved while the tradition and culture hardened.

Hmmm, no sorry, i am quite sure you are wrong even though i cannot prove you wrong. Well, ok, maybe you are right...but then again, you cannot prove your theory is right can you?
I know i am right, my flapping lips are proof...i do not have a book to back me up, but since all others mostly just flap their lips as proof of their beliefs..i am sure i can get away with the deception as well.
On a serious note...you can believe God is whatever YOU wish God to be. Feel free to create whatever it is that you envision God to be...give God a definate beginning and an end if you like, or believe God has always just simply existed. You can even create a God who favors you above all other humans, you can believe God created this world, this Universe only for you.
In other words, unless you are a mindless sheep unable to think for yourself...just do what BILLIONS of humans have been doing for all of our existence.

If the universe is sentient, it's consciousness evolved over time, in much the same way that consciousness evolves in each of us during the course of our lives. Or more accurately, in much the say way that human knowledge has evolved over time.
This is just a wacky science fiction idea, but it makes a lot of sense if you think about it, because the God described in the Old Testament was petty and jealous, but seemingy became more wise over time.

I believe that God took a little bit of himself out of himself to put on earth so that he could experience Humanity for himself, that's why he said he will create man in OUR image. And then he waited for the perfect time to put Himself into the womb of a woman.

It's a bit like the 'chicken and egg' thing. The fact is whatever god is it isn't what religion tries to pigeon hole it as. That is why religious differences occur, because we can not agree on what we percieve god to be. Therefore 'God' as such is a man made thing, used as a form of social control and as a justification for social rules and beliefs. HOwever God or god(s) must pre date mankind as what would have created them, As to what form god takes, that's a whole other argument. One thing that is agreed is whatever god is pre dates man and shaped this planet.

How could God create himself? Either he has always existed or never existed, but something cannot create itself without anything existing before.

In Islam, we believe that God was there before anything and will be there after everything has gone, He was never created because He hath always existed, Man had been created by Him and to Him Man shall return.

God existed before time - he created time itself.
My brain will start smoking if I think how long ago that was - think Captain Kirk + Star Trek.
The love between the father + son was so much, that they created the universe in 1 big bang- really, he said let their be light
