I say that religion is basically a means for explaining things that we don't understand. Examples... Poseidon- God of the Ocean... Yea, tidal waves caused by earthquakes. Hades- The dead bodies have to go somewhere... I mean where else does your mind go??? Zeus and lightening bolts? I mean come on! When we didn't understand something, we got scared, so we made something up. The bible is really just a bunch of rules and fictional stories made up so that people will follow it. This ensures a civilized future. Or maybe not, considering the holy war going on in the middle east right now... So heaven and hell are basically just ways to keep you in check... The worst way to die way back then was probably to burn or drown. So HELL=HOT=DONT LIKE THAT. So if you are bad you get punished... what if you are good??? Heaven!!! It's whatever you want it to be!

They are both real. Dont ever doubt that. Just dont believe that everything you hear about them is real. We are not really going to sit on clouds in heaven playing harps. Here's what I think...

I think that heaven is going to be a place of peace where we can all relax and have no worries at all. There will be no pain and suffering or any problems. I am looking forward to it!

I think hell is in the centre of the earth. As we know, there is fire. It is dark... Try imagine flames so hot that it rips the skin from your body slowly, but you cant die from the flames. You just keep burning forever!

I would definitely want to go to heaven rather, so I believe that Jesus died to save us!

I think heaven exists and that the "cover charge" for getting in isn't as severe as so many would have us believe.

I'm still up in the air about hell--sometimes I even question if THIS (earth, our lives here) is really hell. I can understand God might find it necessary for such a place to exist; however, I tend to think He wouldn't send too many people there as I believe him to be a much more peaceful and forgiving God than is often spoken of.

I believe we are living in Hell and have to eran oiur way to Heaven. The reason for this is, because They say Heavan is above and Hell is below. Yet when we pass they bury our bodies six feet under ground. If Hell was below us why would they send our dead bodies closer to Hell then tell those who have died I will see you in Heaven!!!

There is a Heaven and there is a Hell....If your born-again you will be saved from the torment of Hell, and will be in the presence of the Lord in Heaven for eternity.

Both are here and beyond.
While here, they are our own perceptions of our experiences.
When we pass, our souls move on to heaven to be reborn into another life, or hell for a much needed "time out."

heaven is peace, where you see what you were and smile
and hell is where you lose your soul, who you are, where you are void of being
