I called microsoft and explained what happened..... they asked me to please bend over and grab my creditcard if I ever wanted to open my files again. Thanks for the keys so far guys - but they aren't working. It has to be for MS Office 2003 Student & Teacher or they won't work. You guys rock!!

Wow... bummer... why use Microsoft Products - go download OpenOffice - it's FREE and available from www.openoffice.org. It opens all Office Documents so you don't have to bend over and grab anything to view your data!

I hear ya, Kim. Not sure if each CD is tied to a specific key or not, but try this one:
GWH28 DGCMP P6RC4 6J4MT 3HFDY
That's for Orofice ""2003 Pro"

Hope it works 4 ya!

That using OpenOffice.org advise has merit, I used it open MS Office document before, it is 100% compatible to the files.

Except PowerPoint if I remember correctly.

Did you have insurance. Go see if you can get money to replace your software, then download OpenOffice from Openoffice.org. Is free and just as good, if not better.

Why did you choose to re-intsall that program if you didn't have the serial number?

Using another serial number in a re-installation may or may not be accepted.

You can get keys/serials doing a search on Limewire... they won't be legit, though
